Personal Response To Brief
When I was given the task that I had to create an opening sequence I was quiet excited about the fact that I had to get into a group and produce a film that was to be uploaded onto something called a "blog". I think that because before I was given this task, I was given a practice task which was the preliminary sequence. Because I worked on something called a preliminary sequence, I was more prepared for the task ahead of myself and I knew how much of a challenge creating an opening sequence was going to be. Before I was given the brief, I had knowledge of camera movement, sound, lighting, mis en scene and other aspects that was required to be ready for this task. I think that the lessons that I attended also helped me to prepare for this opening sequence and has given me a bit of leeway because of what I had taken in from lessons. I was really excited and enjoyed the brief that I was given for the opening sequence task. Once I was given the brief for the opening sequence task it was very easy to get into the group that I wanted which made it a lot easier compared to other groups who had to debate who was with who. Not only did I know who to choose for my group, I also knew what genre my group wanted to work on. This was because of pre-discussions before the actual task was active. As a whole, I think that I was prepared for the opening sequence task because of the things that I had learnt in lesson and because of the skills that I had learnt from the preliminary sequence task that I did at the start of the year.
